Folds of Honor Foundation
The Folds of Honor Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen or disabled service members. Over the past ten years, the Folds have awarded over 35,000 scholarships valued at roughly 160 million dollars.
Folds of Honor is a four-star charity rated by Charity Navigator. It is also a top 1% charity for percentage of funds raised that go to recipients.
This year, The Folds have joined forces with the PGA of America, the USGA, and the LPGA. They plan to generate $40 million for the organization and distribute the proceeds to a variety of programs. Among the programs are Youth on Course and Project Sunshine, which provide a safe place for young people to play golf.
A major component of the program is the Patriot Golf Days event. This is the largest golf fundraiser in the country. Originally a grassroots fundraising campaign, Patriot Golf Days has grown to include PGA Professionals and golfers from all 50 states.
The Folds of Honor and PGA TOUR have formed a partnership that will make a major impact on the lives of military families. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 29,000 scholarships. Currently, the organization is looking to award over $35 million in scholarships in 2022.

Liberty Mutual Invitational
The Liberty Mutual Invitational Golf Tournament is one of the largest golf charity events in the U.S. It benefits a number of different charities, including the Northeast Kidney Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, Asian Community Development Corporation, Chinese Hospital of San Francisco and many more.
Thousands of people are involved in this tournament each year. Some of the top teams compete for prize packages, including a free pair of golf shoes, TaylorMade Golf Gift Cards and Sports Vision Eyewear.
This event is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance, which has been a major sponsor of the series for more than seven years. The tournament brings together local businesses and community members to support local charity organizations.

The registration fee for the Liberty Mutual Invitational National Finals is $1,650. This includes four rounds of tournament play, a four-member forecaddie team, on-course beverages and an awards reception.
There are a few ways to qualify for the event. First, you can participate in the Mentor Cup. Participating teams must have a combined USGA Handicap Index of 43.0.
TOUR Championship
The Tour Championship is not just a golf tournament, it’s a way to show your support for the sport and for the community at large. This PGA Tour event has a special attention to philanthropy and sponsors.
The Tour Championship is a major fundraiser for the East Lake Foundation, which provides facilities, programs and resources to help children and families in metro Atlanta thrive. Since its inception in 1995, the ELF has provided over $38 million in funds to local charities.
For the past few years, the prestigious tournament has been held in late August. Now that it’s no longer a season finale, the field is comprised of the top 30 money leaders of the previous year’s PGA Tour season.

But the real story comes in the form of a HOPE Shot Scholarship, which will award 10 deserving students from the East Lake Charter School with a shot at a golf career.
